Collaboration with Crank Factory!

Hey Climbers,

We’ve got really exciting news to share!

We have tied up with Crank Factory, so you can now shop for your favourite gears online! We are talking about these big names – La Sportiva, Evolv, Fixe, So iLL, Metolius Climbing, Ocún, Moon Climbing, Trango Extraordinary Climbing – ALL on the same page for  your shopping pleasure. There is more variety than the above, but don’t just take our word for it…

So, if you’re ready for some bad climbing puns AND good retail therapy, go forth and multiply (the items in your shopping cart).

Be sure to subscribe to their newsletter so you’ll be the first to know when there’s a sale too!

Cheers,
Climb Asia

New beginnings for “Old” Climb Asia Members

Happy Month of May!

We trust that you’ve made the switch to Ground Up’s (GU) membership card by now, and won’t “kenna” the initiation fee on your next visit to GU.

The great news is that the GU card allows you to enjoy just about the same benefits as you did before, but with more perks and choices! So, congratulations on your new GU card!

Click here to learn more about the perks YOU’LL enjoy.

If you’re still hanging on to your CA membership card, and don’t wish to exchange it for GU’s, you can still enjoy your membership discount when you make any purchases at our Pro-Shop online.

However, if you’ve still got credits and you’ve missed the one-year deadline, a new initiation fee at GU now applies.

To continue using any remaining credits in your account or to apply for membership with GU, please proceed to the check in the their climbing centre to make a one-time payment of $60.00. NOTE: You do not need to be a GU member to purchase a single entry-pass, or to purchase multi-passes at GU.

If you have been posted overseas for work or studies, or have a medical condition that prevented you or a proxy from making the exchange, you may lodge an appeal here. Please note that you’re required to submit proof of the above mentioned reasons.

Have a great week ahead!

Cheers,
Climb Asia.

Very soon, the Ground Up Climbing membership will include more perks such as discounts at restaurants, retail shops, activities, and many others.

Until then, the membership already includes discounts at with Ground Up’s physiotherapy partner, cafe corner, retail shop and specific courses and workshops conducted by Ground Up.

You’ll still enjoy the usual 10% discount on merchandises in Climb Asia’s Pro-shop, and special members’ rates during our sales periods and festive seasons too! As you may already know, the Pro-shop has moved to Frontier, Ubi Ave 3 #05-31 Singapore 408867. Do make an appointment with us before visiting.

GU’s One-time Registration Fee Applies From 1 May 2018

Important note: A one-time initiation fee of $60 payable to Ground Up will apply from 1 May 2018. If you’re still hanging on your Climb Asia card by then and still have credits remaining in your existing account, you will need to pay the initiation fee to use them again. So please, make your exchange by 30 April to avoid this fee;)

Do spread the word to all your climbing kakis!

We’re moving!! (Not the gym, just the Pro-shop)

It was in 2007 (more than 10 years ago) since we moved from a shop house along Rangoon Road, into the multi-purpose hall on Level 2 of the Civil Service Club @ Tessensohn.

Then, just 10 months ago, we handed over the operations of the climbing facility to our buddies at Ground Up Climbing Pte Ltd. And it’s now time for the Pro-shop to take our leave too!

Please take note of our opening hours for our last 3 days of operation:

2 March: 12pm to 9pm
3 March10am to 8pm
4 March: 10am to 8pm

Our Moving Out Sale starts today, and runs until Sunday – which is our last day at the CSC… #bittersweetfeelings

We’ll then be using the week after that for our final packing up, before we completely vacate this cozy “hole between the climbing walls” to allow Ground Up to work their magic:)

We’ll keep you posted on our new location a little while later and until then, most of our products will still be available on our online store.

That’s it for now.

Bye… for now:)

Cheers,
CA

Climb Asia Welcomes Ground Up to the Family!

We are excited to welcome Ground Up Climbing to our growing family of Climb Asia affiliates. The experienced coaching group will be taking over operations of Climb Asia Climbing Centre, located at Club CSC @ Tessensohn, with effect from 1 May 2017.

Moving forward, we will be working closely with Ground Up to improve the overall climbing experience for users, so do keep a look out for exciting and progressive changes in the months ahead!

The Climb Asia group will continue to act as counsel when it comes to gym operations. By handing over the day-to-day operations to Ground Up, we can concentrate our efforts and better serve as headquarters to our family of gyms across Asia and Australia, and ensure that they maintain a high standard of excellence across the region.

We understand that you may have some questions about what this means for you, as a member or a patron of Climb Asia Climbing Centre. Check out the FAQ that we’ve prepared.

Feel free to drop us an email at beta@climb-asia.com, or with Ground Up at enquiries@groundupsg.com, if you have further questions.
